Archnemesis Modifiers List – Path of Exile League MechanicĪs you may have expected, yes, there are many Archnemesis Modifiers to find. It’s a great way to further increase your rewards, but the fights will become tougher each time. This means that the second encounter will have two modifiers, the third will have three, and the fourth will have all four of them. Now, subsequent petrified monsters in the area will inherit all modifiers that have been applied so far in said area. Here’s the twist: The Archnemesis Modifier serves to empower the monster, receiving the rewards bestowed by the modifier. Choose whichever modifier you want to use, put it in a slot, and press begin to kick off the encounter. This will open the modifiers screen, as well as a smaller screen on the right side with up to four slots. Now, head over to any statue nearby and activate the glowing icon that they have on top. It may seem like a big number, but they’ll begin to pile up if you don’t use them, so definitely keep the space in mind even if it’s separated from your main inventory. The screen is an 8×8 grid, which means you can hold up to 64 modifiers at the same time. Once you find modifiers, loot them and they will be added to a separate inventory screen dedicated entirely to the new League mechanic. There is no guarantee you’ll always obtain one, but in my experience, the drop chance has been fairly generous. You can find Archnemesis Modifiers as drops from blue to unique monsters. They all include a certain level, the buff itself, and a reward type that you’ll obtain if you manage to take the enemy down. Said modifiers are items that add a specific condition to the enemy, giving them a buff against you. In order to activate the encounter, you’ll need at least one Archnemesis Modifier. This means that as you’re traveling to the next quest or doing maps in the Atlas of Worlds, you’ll spot several statues that hold a petrified monster hostage.
